Keen Jasper Zionic Dark Olive Khaki

The hiker gone military without ever overplaying it

The Jasper starts from the same DNA as the rest of the line: a fast, light hiker built on KEEN's Crag heritage, made for moving quick over unstable ground. The Zionic reformats that technical base into a low, aggressive silhouette, closer to street than summit. The Dark Olive Khaki colorway commits to a direct utilitarian inspiration: dark olive suede dominates the upper, black overlays hit the toe and heel, and a light khaki tongue and heel pull round it out. A pair pulling from the military wardrobe without ever tipping into a full tactical look.

The dark olive brushed suede leather upper takes on matte black leather reinforcement at the toe and heel, exactly where the shoe takes the most abuse. The light khaki tongue and matching heel pull break up the olive's mass with a controlled tonal contrast. Bright yellow dashed stitching runs across the upper, quietly signing the build without ever tipping into gimmick. Underneath, a black outsole with deep oval lugs, mounted on a gum midsole unit, cuts against the rest of the colorway and calls back to the rawest outdoor codes — KEEN branding stamped at the forefoot. Inside, the sockliner runs the "Consciously Created" tag.

The Contoured Fit follows the shape of the foot for a snug hold with no pressure points, and tongue-to-toe lacing lets you dial in the fit along the whole length of the upper, from toe to collar. The removable resilient foam insole builds in arch support for cushioning that holds up over time, backed by a stability shank that frames the foot laterally without weighing down the build. The 4mm multi-directional lugs, in high-traction rubber, grip wet pavement as well as broken ground. The premium leather comes from an LWG-certified tannery, a standard that limits the production's impact on water, and the Eco Anti-Odour treatment, pesticide-free, handles odor without harsh chemistry.
