Keen Jasper Zionic Chipmunk Huckleberry

The Jasper starts from the same base as the rest of the line: a fast, light hiker built on KEEN's Crag heritage, made for moving quick over unstable ground. The Zionic reformats that technical base into a low, aggressive silhouette, closer to pavement than trail. The Chipmunk Huckleberry colorway leans into a warm, natural palette: a chipmunk-tan suede upper, black overlays structuring toe and heel, deep huckleberry leather as the accent at the collar and tongue. A combination pulled straight from autumn tones, without ever slipping into a soft, washed-out mix.

The chipmunk brushed suede leather upper, textured and slightly fuzzy to the touch, takes on matte black leather reinforcement at the toe and heel, exactly where the shoe takes the most abuse. The collar, tongue, and eyestay area switch to huckleberry leather, a deep burgundy that warms up the whole colorway without ever overpowering it. The burgundy-and-off-white webbing tongue pull echoes that shade as a graphic accent, a direct extension of the collar. At the heel, a small embroidered floral emblem in dark thread quietly signs the build, barely visible unless you look close. Underneath, a black outsole with deep oval lugs cuts cleanly against the tan upper, KEEN branding stamped at the forefoot. Inside, the off-white sockliner runs the "Consciously Created" tag, visible as soon as the shoe's open.

The Contoured Fit follows the shape of the foot for a snug hold with no pressure points, and tongue-to-toe lacing lets you dial in the fit along the whole length of the upper, from toe to collar. The removable resilient foam insole builds in arch support for cushioning that holds up over time, backed by a stability shank that frames the foot laterally without weighing down the build. The 4mm multi-directional lugs, in high-traction rubber, grip wet pavement as well as broken ground. The premium leather comes from an LWG-certified tannery, a standard that limits the production's impact on water, and the Eco Anti-Odour treatment, pesticide-free, handles odor without harsh chemistry.
