The "Japan Pro" takes its roots directly in the "Fabre Japan S", a historic Asics model first introduced in 1981 and popular with the basketball community. Today, it has been redesigned to meet the specific requirements of skateboarding. All the technology is based on the analysis of skateboard movement, the insole is designed with a different hardness between the inside and outside by providing perforation holes, and the specification that favors the inside center of gravity is adopted to improve the feeling of stability on the board. The upper is made of suede and features three seams on the toe and heel for enhanced durability. The elastic band connecting the tongue to the insole reduces misalignment of the boot tongue, and the thicker tongue ensures maximum comfort. Referring to the archives of the past, the authentic design is inherited, and the suede material enhances the classic silhouette.
