Crosspath XC: the Sidestripe goes all-terrain

Vans comes out of skate, and its codes come down to two signatures: the Sidestripe and the checkerboard. The Crosspath XC GORE-TEX keeps both and takes them off the pavement. It's one of the most capable pairs in the lineup, built for daily wear, unexpected weather and light outdoor missions. The Green Balsam colorway drops it into forest-floor territory: military green, mustard and black. The Sidestripe becomes a translucent amber panel, the checkerboard shows up on the toe bumper, and the trail tech comes forward without erasing the brand's DNA.

The moss green ripstop upper builds in layers: olive suede-look overlays across the lacing zone, toe cap and heel, deep forest translucent panels, and black outline prints that spell out GORE-TEX lettering down the side. The translucent amber Sidestripe runs across the profile, backed by mustard bars with zigzag stitching. The mustard speed-lacing system, with bungee cord and a black toggle clip, is joined by a green webbing keeper that holds the lace in place. The mustard pull tab carries the Vans logo, a green loop reinforces the heel, and the interior lining, printed in brown and sand, repeats the GORE-TEX name. Underneath, the sculpted black outsole shows marbled mustard lugs through the center, with a checkerboard toe bumper and the yellow Vibram octagon on the sidewall.

The upper is built with GORE-TEX Invisible Fit technology: guaranteed waterproofing, breathability intact. RapidWeld reinforcements protect the highest-wear areas. The UltraCush™ EVA midsole delivers all-day cushioning, and the 7mm heel-to-toe drop gives a stable stride without tipping into minimalist territory. The Vibram XS Trek Evo outsole, with an all-new tread profile, grips on unpredictable terrain and holds up to wear. The speedlace with clip lets you tighten or loosen on the fly, and the pull tabs make getting in easy. The pair comes in at 14.35 oz, roughly 407g.
