90s running in pastel, built on a PineappleSkin upper

The RUSH sits at the crossroads of two worlds: unapologetic 90s running nostalgia and a completely different approach to material. The Pink Yellow Pineapple colorway pushes that idea even further on the material side: here, the upper swaps the CornSkin used on other drops in the range for PineappleSkin, a leather alternative developed from pineapple leaf waste. Same visual DNA — oversized proportions, dynamic paneling, a silhouette built for the city just as much as rougher terrain — but a carbon footprint that goes even further: proof MoEa isn't stopping at a single bio-based solution.

The off-white PineappleSkin upper serves as the base for an unapologetic color-block: a pastel pink panel runs along the side, from heel to lacing, while a mustard yellow suede patch wakes up the eyelet area. A diagonal caramel plant-leather stripe cuts across the forefoot, the only warm accent in a palette otherwise dominated by white, pink, and yellow. Cream technical mesh shows up on the sides to lighten the build without breaking the color balance. Oval "MOEA" patches in pale pink, screen-printed in black, sit on the tongue and heel. Underneath, the white midsole, oversized at 45mm in height, reveals a pink panel at the heel before sitting on a gum rubber outsole. Inside, the caramel plant-leather sockliner carries the MOEA wordmark, echoing the upper's diagonal stripe.

The removable insole works for narrow and wide feet alike, a real plus on a pair built for heavy daily rotation. The lining, here 70% recycled polyester, keeps the foot dry and comfortable over time — a different choice from the bamboo used on other colorways in the range, but just as focused on breathability. The thermoplastic rubber outsole pairs soft cushioning with solid grip, for a smooth walking feel despite the shoe's oversized volume. On the impact side: PineappleSkin, 95% bio-based, generates on average 37 times less CO₂ emissions than animal leather — more than three times better than the CornSkin already used by the brand — with comparable durability and hand-feel. The pair is handmade in Porto, B-Corp certified, and PETA-approved vegan.
