The Runner Cor-V starts from a 2000s running foundation — stacked volumes, technical silhouette, layered structure — but Flower Instinct treats it as a handcrafted object rather than a mass-produced sneaker. Handmade in Portugal from triple-layer Italian leather, each pair goes through a manual dyeing process that lays five successive tones directly onto the leather. The result: a one-of-a-kind gradient on every pair, never reproducible twice. The Faded Blue colorway captures that logic at its purest, a washed-out blue running from off-white through glacier tones, almost metallic depending on the light.

The triple-layer Italian leather upper, sourced from Gruppo Mastrotto tanning, takes the hand-dyeing process without ever losing its structure — the grain stays dense, the material keeps its original thickness under the gradient. The logo, injected in 3D as a silver cross on the side panel, cuts through with its relief and metallic tone against the blue-toned base of the upper. Round chenille-style laces, dyed in the same palette, bring a looped texture that contrasts with the smooth leather. Double stitching, visible across every structural seam, signs a build made to last as much as to be seen. Underneath, the white EXTRALIGHT midsole takes on a blue fade that runs down to the black outsole, the one clean break in the whole colorway. Because every tone is applied by hand, no pair leaves the workshop identical to the photos — yours will carry its own gradient.

The soft tongue hugs the instep without ever compressing it, while the EXTRALIGHT midsole lightens the build while keeping cushioning you can feel with every step — a real plus on a silhouette this chunky.
