The Salomon X-Alp LTR celebrates the brand's history in mountaineering. Inspired by technical approach shoes (designed for climbing up to climbing routes), this lifestyle version retains all the technical features of the original. With its blend of premium Black and Vanilla Ice materials, it perfectly embodies the Gorpcore trend: extreme functionality repurposed for urban style.

Technology & Protection (Edging Chassis)

A construction designed for verticality, adapted for walking:

• 3D Edging Chassis: This is the heart of the reactor. This unique chassis construction allows for great flexibility in the forefoot (for rolling the foot) while ensuring total lateral rigidity (for holding onto climbing holds... or stabilising the foot in the city).
• Reinforced Protection: A large mudguard and black rubberised stone guard surround the bottom of the foot, creating a strong graphic contrast with the beige leather and protecting the shoe from the elements.

Materials & Comfort

• Suede: The upper uses a sturdy and elegant suede, offering superior wear resistance to traditional meshes.
• All-Terrain Grip: The All Terrain Contagrip® sole is designed to grip on all surfaces, whether wet, dry or unstable.
• Internal Comfort: Featuring a milled OrthoLite® insole, it provides lasting cushioning and optimal breathability.
