Subversive Embroidery & Textured Knit
Pas De Mer disrupts the classic sweater vest with a heavy dose of irony and intricate detailing. The Doily Vest immediately stands out with its textured, slightly fuzzy light blue knit, offering both a rich visual depth and comfortable wear.
The front of the vest, secured by a row of tonal blue buttons, features highly detailed white embroidery: an ornamental design on the right chest and a jester skull graphic with the text "HARD TIMES" on the lower left.
The back holds the true standout details with an asymmetrical layout. On the upper left, a punk character is stitched in white thread. On the lower right sits the namesake detail: an actual rectangular white lace "doily" patch, into which skull motifs are intricately woven.
Styling Tip: This highly graphic and textured piece does the heavy lifting for your outfit. Wear it fully buttoned over bare skin with a simple chain, or leave it open layered over a crisp white tee. Pair it with loose tailored trousers or light-wash denim to balance out the eccentric knitwear.
