This April, Karhu launches the second of two mascot packs. Inspired by our own mascot, the legendary Finnish sportsbear, the "Cheer Bear" assortment presents four of the iconic silhouettes of Karhu in all new colors. From 1800s. Sports organizations popularized mascot, first using living animals to entertain spectators and intimidate rivals. By looking for a modern face for the mascot pack, the Karhu design team was inspired by several illustrations from our archives, in particular the trampas bear from the 1960s and a comic strip from the 1980s which presented Kris the bear Karhu. For our last delivery, we continue the story of Kris L'Ours Karhu while he auditions to become the new Karhu mascot. Our second episode begins with Kris L'Ours Karhu tired, wet and breathless on the Karhu annual marathon line. After changing to put on her clean and dry suit of "Cheer Bear", Kris realizes that the runners have slowed down and stopped completely. How can Kris become the new Karhu mascot if the runners do not finish the race?
