It all started in 1918 when the Englishman Jacques Spreiregen began to import Basque berets from France. A timeless classic that is still part of the Kangol range. In 1938, he created the name Kangol and became known by providing berets to the British army during the Second World War. The English tradition has continued in the post-war years and over time Kangol established itself as an essential fashion article. In 1983, Princess Diana appeared in Vogue bearing kangol. It was at this point that the brand adopted the famous Kangaroo logo world known to definitely establish itself in the fashion world, music and all the Street culture. Today, Kangol produces a range of very diverse products, which crosses generations and cultures. It's not just hip hop and heritage. Kangol is not only a fashion brand.
