The CREW is organized around Ryan Garshell, a filmer that combined the initial of its name with the emblematic camera model used by skaters: the Sony VX1000.

Garshell moved to San Francisco in 2008 and became a reference in the world of skateboard videos that put forward in the city of San Francisco and its hills. Today, he is the official thread of Thrasher Magazine, or even Converse and he has developed his clothing brand of the same name.
