This sweatshirt pays tribute to the origins of house music, a form of rebellion. It evokes an American music collective from Detroit that advocates artistic independence. When it was created, it was clearly a protest against years of musical exploitation and radio programming that they considered dishonest. Composed mainly of black American artists attached to their community, this collective was also strongly committed to the fight against racial discrimination.
