Purple spiral, raw lettering: two legacies knitted into one piece

On one side is Millet, the Savoie-born house founded in Annecy in 1921 and built for high-altitude alpinism. On the other is Element, the Californian brand that has always blended city, nature and board culture. The MXE collab brings both worlds together on a sweater that reads more like an artist's piece than technical apparel. A large-scale jacquard motif takes over the chest: a purple spiral locked inside a tilted square, set on a black shape with jagged green edges, halfway between a tribal sun and a carved symbol. The sleeves carry both names in torn, hand-cut green lettering. On the back, a blue and red woven patch seals the partnership. Nothing is printed: every graphic is built into the knit itself.

The relaxed fit adds volume through the body without swamping your frame, and raglan sleeves flow straight from the neckline for a soft shoulder and a clean drape. The fabric is the real flex: a 750 g/m² jacquard knit, a heavyweight you rarely come across, with serious density in hand and solid structure. The yarn is spun by Filatures du Parc, a French mill specialising in recycled fibres, and blends 50% wool, 30% acrylic and 20% polyamide, all GRS certified. The Truffle colourway, a deep heathered brown, makes the green and purple pop without ever looking loud. A ribbed crew neck, tight rib cuffs and hem finish it off clean, no gimmicks.

Wool brings the warmth, polyamide reinforces the fibre against wear and pilling, and acrylic helps the knit hold its shape wash after wash. The result is a sweater that handles city winters, bike commutes and long days outdoors without bagging at the elbows or stretching out at the neck. The ribbing at cuffs and waist locks in heat and keeps the silhouette sharp, even in heavy rotation. It's the kind of piece you pull out every season and that only gets better with age.
