Breaking out of the concrete, in pink and lemon

The hoodie carries the MXE collab's signature graphic, but in a palette that shifts its whole mood. On the back, the figure with broken limbs bursts out of its frame in lemon yellow, on a hot pink background outlined in brick red, while the city skyline fades into the top corner. The linework stays raw and grainy, like oil chalk on a wall, and the uneven Concrete Jungle lettering signs it off, with the Millet M and Element tree as punctuation. The top word, Escape, sits tucked under the hood and only really shows when it's pulled up. On the chest, both names circle a yellow spiral, the recurring motif of the collection, and a red MXE label marks the inside of the collar.

Cut in a relaxed fit, the hoodie gives dropped shoulders, a wide body and a length that covers the hips well, without tipping into exaggerated oversized. The 400 g/m² fleece, a true heavyweight, blends 50% recycled cotton, 30% cotton and 20% recycled polyester, all GRS certified. The inside is brushed for a plush feel against the skin, and the hood is lined in self fabric, giving it volume and keeping it from falling flat. The Toffee colourway, a caramel brown, brings out the pink and yellow on the back without ever looking loud. Kangaroo pocket, drawcords with metal aglets, thick rib cuffs and hem: a classic build, executed with care.

The heavy weight gives the sweatshirt real structure and enough warmth to wear on its own until the first cold snaps, then under a jacket once winter sets in. The recycled polyester content strengthens the fibre, limits shrinkage and helps the fleece hold its shape at the cuffs and hem, where cheaper hoodies stretch out first. The brushed interior stays soft wash after wash, and the lined hood keeps the wind off your neck. The deep kangaroo pocket swallows a phone, earbuds and cold hands without throwing off the silhouette.
