In 1974, Converse launched a lower and suede version of the Chuck Taylor All Star, with a single star on the side: the One Star. Reissued in the early 90s, the model gained popularity with the skateboarding community thanks to its performance. Today's One Star pays homage to its original manufacture with a textured and hairy suede construction. An ortholite orthopedic sole, a PU Strobel tray and a durable rubber outsole combine with a vintage heel logo and vintage laces to bring the past and the present together.
