Butter Goods Collapsible Record Crate Brown

Utility meets digging culture: The Record Crate by Butter Goods

Skate culture has always maintained a visceral connection to music, from independent video soundtracks to deep digging sessions at local record shops. This storage crate pays direct homage to that underground heritage. Envisioned as a rugged industrial milk crate reimagined for urban aesthetes, it features the brand's logo boldly screen-printed on every side. It is the ultimate lifestyle accessory that transforms the storage of your vinyl collection or gear into a heavy-hitting visual statement within your living space.

The build of this piece moves away from flimsy commercial plastics to deliver a heavy-duty structure made from 100% recycled plastic. The approach is both eco-conscious and highly technical. The strict 14-inch cubic format guarantees a perfectly optimized volume to house standard 12-inch records. The real flex lies in its collapsible engineering: the walls fold down flat in seconds via reinforced hinges, offering premium space management when the crate is empty. The screen-printed finishes provide sharp contrast and instantly recognizable brand identity.

Engineered to bear heavy loads, the crate's grid-like frame distributes pressure to prevent warping, even when packed to the brim with wax or heavy indie magazines. The high-density plastic absorbs daily impacts and apartment moves without flinching. Built-in side handles ensure an ergonomic and secure grip, while the interlocking base design allows you to stack multiple units with rock-solid stability, letting you build a custom storage wall.

FAQ:

• How many standard vinyl records (12-inch) does this crate hold?
Thanks to its generous 14-inch depth, it comfortably holds anywhere from 50 to 70 standard 12-inch records, depending on the thickness of your sleeves and gatefolds.

• Is the folding mechanism durable for long-term use?
Absolutely. The hinges are molded directly into the high-density recycled plastic to withstand repeated setup and breakdown, ensuring the walls lock firmly into place when assembled.

• Can I safely stack multiple crates?
Yes, the bottom base and top rims are specifically engineered to interlock. You can stack them securely to maximize your vertical storage without worrying about the tower tipping over.
