    It was in 1992, at a time in history when the skateboarding business seemed to be very improbable, that Legend Tony Hawk made the unthinkable ... He created his own skateboarding business. Originally named "Birdhouse Projects", it was based on the principle that, if you like something, you support it and encourage it.
