EDGLRD, pronounced ‘edgelord,’ is a project launched in 2023 by American filmmaker Harmony Korine. In addition to being a filmmaker, Harmony Korine is an American actor, photographer, artist, and author. His creative methods are characterised by an erratic, free, and transgressive aesthetic. He explores taboo themes and regularly incorporates experimental techniques.
He is known to the general public for his involvement in the making of films such as Larry Clark's ‘Kids’ and the direction of “Gummo”, or more recently ‘Spring Breakers’ with James Franco, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens.
For his EDGLRD project, Harmony Korine offers numerous creations, including experimental films, animation, video games, toys, virtual reality, and skateboarding!
EDGLRD is known, among other things, for directing the film Aggro Dr1ft, starring Jordi Mollà and Travis Scott. He also worked with Bladee on his music video ‘One Second’ featuring Yung Lean, and with Kim Kardashian on the Skims swimwear collection.
On the skateboarding side, EDGLRD Team is based in Miami and led by skateboarder Sean Pablo. Big names in the scene are joining the ranks of EDGLRD Team, such as Eric Koston, Vincent Touzery, and Mike Arnold.
