• The Upper (The Look): The upper is directly inspired by the GEL-NIMBUS™ 3 from the early 2000s, mixed with ornamental details from the MC-PLUS V. We find this combination of wide breathable mesh and silver suede and synthetic overlays.
• The Sole (Comfort): For the chassis, ASICS borrowed the tooling from the GEL-CUMULUS™ 16. Unlike retro soles, which are often rigid, this one uses modern lightweight foams and visible GEL™ technology inserts in the forefoot and rearfoot for cloud-like cushioning.
