Australian brand Butter Goods and the iconic Peanuts comic strip have teamed up to bring us a second capsule collection that is sure to turn heads. But first, a bit of history...

Peanuts, known in France under several titles, including Snoopy, Snoopy et les Peanuts, Snoopy et le petit monde des Peanuts or even Charlie Brown, is a famous American comic strip created, written and drawn by Charles M. Schulz (1922-2000). Published continuously from October 1950 until the author's death in February 2000, the series comprises a total of 17 897 strips.

The world of Peanuts is based on recurring gags centred mainly on Charlie Brown, a clumsy, unlucky and often melancholic boy, and his whimsical dog Snoopy. The comic strip exploits the principle of comic repetition : the same situations and interactions recur regularly, while each character has their own distinctive traits, obsessions and iconic accessories.

The success of Peanuts has given rise to numerous adaptations, including Emmy Award-winning cartoons, as well as plays and musicals.

Since the 1960s, comics have enjoyed a worldwide success, particularly in the United States. Its popularity and the huge number of licences for advertising and merchandise have made Charles M. Schulz one of the richest and most famous comic book authors in the world.

Upon Schulz's passing, Peanuts was published in more than 2,600 newspapers, distributed throughout 75 countries and translated into 21 languages.

Butter Goods is an Australian streetwear and skatewear brand founded in 2008 in Perth, Australia, by two passionate skateboarders, Garth Mariano and Matt Evans. Since its inception, the brand has remained true to its roots, being 100% owned and managed by skateboarders.

The brand finds its aesthetic inspiration in 1990s skate culture, as well as jazz, hip-hop and funk music, but also in street art and the underground culture.

It is known for its bold graphics, baggy cuts and durable pieces designed for both skateboarding and everyday wear. It offers a wide and consistent range of clothing and accessories, made from robust, high-quality materials, designed to withstand the rigours of skateboarding while maintaining a stylish look.

We had always messed with the idea of starting a brand from a young age. We used to hand screen print our own tees, and Matt actually made boards with his uncle in high school. So, we were always into the idea of creating something of our own.

Although founded locally, Butter Goods quickly gained an international following thanks to its striking collections and authentic communication. It now enjoys cult status, with frequent sell-outs as soon as new collections are released.

Butter Goods regularly collaborates with other brands, artists and influencers from the worlds of skateboarding and music. These partnerships include projects with Peanuts, Disney Fantasia, Miles Davis, Blue Note and Charles Mingus, as well as collaborations with brands such as DC and Puma, and initiatives focused on skateboarding and graphic design.

For Autumn 2025, Butter brings us a second Peanuts capsule collection, even richer than the first one from 2022. Once again, it embraces the world of music so dear to Butter Goods, while remaining faithful to the Peanuts culture of not taking itself too seriously!

The collection includes numerous textile items such as T-shirts and sweaters, as well as more elaborate pieces such as faux leather jackets, denim jackets, trousers and knitted jumpers, featuring some of the comic's best punchlines. Not to mention accessories, including an incredible Snoopy soft toy!
